WolfInstitute Plans Pair Of Seminars

This month WolfInstitute is offering a pair of employment law CLE seminars.

On Thursday, April 6, WolfInstitute has scheduled a session titled Employment Law 101 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the WolfInstitute Training Center, 250 Park Avenue, New York City. The instructor is Jonathan D. Wetchler, WolfBlock.

This seminar is designed to familiarize human resource generalists with an overview of federal and state laws governing employer/employee relationships, at-will employment, Title VII coverage, FMLA, ADA, privacy issues in the electronic workplace, wage and hour issues, recordkeeping and proper documentation.

On Wednesday, April 12, WolfInstitute has planned a program titled International Benefits from 9 to 11:30 a.m., also at the WolfInstitute Training Center. The instructor is William D. Wright, WolfBlock.

This session will include discussion about the various legal and administrative concerns that face employers with employees outside the United States as well as foreign employers with operations in the United States. Taxation concerns related to retirement plans and other compensation arrangements will be covered as well as well as the application of U.S. laws to employers outside the United States.
