WolfInstitute Plans May Seminars

WolfInstitute this month will continue its series of ongoing employment law seminars in Philadelphia and Harrisburg, PA.

The Philadelphia seminars take place at the WolfInstitute, 1650 Arch Street, Philadelphia. Each session begins at 9 a.m.

In Harrisburg, the sessions, which run from 9 to 11:30 a.m., will take place at Continental Cooperative Services, 212 Locust Street.

The courses are designed to give HR professionals, in-house counsel, benefits administrators and other managers information and skills to handle their jobs efficiently and in compliance with the laws of their states and federal laws.

All speakers are attorneys with WolfBlock.

The May Philadelphia schedule includes:

  • Thursday, May 5, Healthcare Cost Containment: New Ideas, Same Old Problem, with Kathryn E. Larkin as instructor;
  • Wednesday, May 11, Employment Policies and Supervisory Guidelines, with Jonathan A. Segal as instructor;
  • Tuesday, May 17, Collective Bargaining, with Louis Chodoff as instructor;
  • Wednesday, May 18, Interviewing and Background Checks, with Jodi T. Plavner as instructor.

The Harrisburg schedule includes:

  • Wednesday, May 4, High Risk Terminations, with James R. Redeker as instructor;
  • Thursday, May 12, FMLA, ADA, STD and Workers' Compensation, with Renee C. Mattei Myers as instructor.
