The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel elected officers and directors at its annual meeting on November 3, immediately preceding the monthly program. McKim, United States Steel Corporation; VP-Programs: Coralyn M. Benhart, Alcoa Inc.; VP-Membership: Michelle I. Rittern, PPG Industries, Inc.; VP-Communications: Susan Wright, Nova Chemicals, Inc.; Treasurer: John Fontecchio, Alcoa Inc.
The Chapter will continue its series of luncheon meetings to be held in the Mellon Bank Banker's Corner Dining Room, Three Mellon Bank Center, at the corner of Fifth Avenue and William Penn Place, Pittsburgh.
On Monday, January 12, Michael T. Dissen, Thomson West Corporate, and James A. Merklinger, Association of Corporate Counsel, will speak on Internet Legal Resarch - Technology in the Corporate Legal Office.
The February meeting, on February 2, will be presented by David C. Cannon, Jr., PPG Industries, Inc.; Wayne Balta, IBM Corporation, and Johanna G. O'Loughlin, Equitable Resources, Inc.Their topic will be From Problems to Opportunities: A Multi-disciplinary Approach to Managing Environmental Liabilities.
