WESFACCA Seminar To Examine RisksOf Screening Out "Unhealthy" Employees

WESFACCA, this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Healthy Employees in a Healthy Workplace: An Admirable or Illegal Goal?

The program will take place on Wednesday, July 20 from 8:45 to 11 a.m. at the WESFACCA Conference Center, 970 Summer Street, Stamford, CT.

This seminar will address:

  • The employment law implications of implementing a workplace wellness program, including guidance from the EEOC on the issue;
  • "Screening out" issues under state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination based on disability and lifestyle discrimination laws;
  • Special issues relating to unionized workplaces.

The speakers will be Michael Soltis and Frank Alvarez, both of Jackson Lewis.
