Ethics and the In-House Business Lawyer is the title of a CLE seminar being presented this month by WESFACCA.
The program will take place on Friday, September 22 from 9 to 11:45 a.m. at the Woodway Country Club, Darien, CT.
The two principal areas to be covered in the seminar are: Legal Ethics and Compliance Issues Under SOX and the Sentencing Guidelines, and Ethics Issues in a Transactional Practice - Pre and Post Closing. Rules in each will be explored in the context of hypothetical scenarios addressing real world issues focused on 'who is the client' and 'what duties are owed to whom.'
Speakers will be Sabino (Rod) Rodriguez III, Day, Berry & Howard LLP, and Andrea Falcione, Integrity Interactive Corporation.
