UT School Of Law CLESlates 30th Immigration Conference

The University of Texas School of Law CLE this month is planning its 30th Annual Conference on Immigration and Nationality Law.

The program will take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, September 20, 21 and 22. Sessions will run from 5 to 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, from 8:20 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

The conference will blend family and business-based issues for beginning and intermediate practitioners. The conference will open with comprehensive sessions on immigration fundamentals and immigration consequences of crime. Thursday and Fridays sessions will cover topics such as: Naturalization and Citizenship; Employment-Based Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Status; PERM Update; Worksite Compliance; Dealing With the USCIS, and Using the Internet for Immigration Research.

Among the speakers will be Gary E. Endelman, BP America, Inc.; Madeline R. Esquivel, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.; Edward F. Gallagher III, U.S. Attorney's Office, and Vanna Slaughter, Catholic Charities Immigration Counseling Services.
