Two-Day Immigration Law CourseSlated By Los Angeles County Bar Association

The Los Angeles County Bar Association's (LACBA) CLE calendar this month includes a two-day program titled Immigration Law Training Course.

The session will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 30 and31 at the LACBA/LexisNexis Conference Center, 281 FigueroaStreet, Los Angeles. The program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

This training is designed for attorneys who are new to the field of immigration law, or have been practicing in the field for less than one year. The training will focus on immigration legal concepts and procedures, practical aspects, and INS and Immigration Court policies in the Los Angeles District Office.

Among the speakers will be Luis Carlos Ayala, Law Offices of Luis Carlos Ayala; Kerry J. Dockstader, Law Office of Kerry Dockstader; Mary L. Mucha, Immigration Legal Assistance Project, and Judith Leslie Wood, Human Rights Project.
