The National Association of Corporate Directors has scheduled a master class on Thursday and Friday, August 25 and 26 in Palo Alto.
The highly interactive program offers several opportunities for knowledge sharing among a select group of boardroom leaders supported by experts in the fields of audit, compensation and nominating/governance. Attendance is limited to 40 experienced directors, lead directors and committee chairs of publicly traded Fortune 1000 companies. The faculty is composed of governance experts from Stanford University and directors from Silicon Valley, who will share their expertise.
The keynote speaker is John Swainson, the chairman of the board of Serena Software who also serves on the boards of directors of Assurant, Inc., VISA, Inc., Cadence Design Systems and Broadcom. He is a member of the National Academies Computer Science and Telecommunications board.
