Texas Bar To Present ADR Seminar

The State Bar of Texas is planning a program titled Alternative Dispute Resolution Seminar 2007.

The session will take place on Monday, October 15 from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cityplace Conference Center, Dallas.

Discussion topics will include: Ethical Mediation Advocacy; ADR Case Law Update; Legislative Update; ADR Users Panel Discussion;Developing Trends and Practice Tips in Mediation; Texas Supreme Court's Ethical Guidelines for Mediators and ABA Model Standards of Conduct: A Comparison, and Trainer's Roundtable: What We Know Now That We Wish We Had Taught You Then.

The program moderator is Cecilia H. Morgan, JAMS. Among the speakers are Craig A. Haynes, Thompson & Knight; Theresa A. Couch, senior counsel, Texas Instruments; L. Wayne Scott, professor of law, St. Mary's University School of Law, and Tracy W. McCormack, professor of law, University of Texas School of Law.
