Tax Planning For Multinational Companies

The Boston Bar Association and the Greater Zurich Area will offer a panel discussion on International Tax Planning for the Future - European Restructuring and Multi-Jurisdiction Fund Management on Tuesday, September 20, at Boston University School of Law, 765 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.

It begins at 9:15 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.

The panel will feature Switzerland as a venue for principal and fund management companies. Along with leading industry experts, U.S. Department of Treasury associate international tax counsel David Ernick will comment from the U.S. federal tax perspective, and keynote speaker Professor Lilian Faulhaber of Boston University School of Law will explain how the European Commission's Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB) proposal will essentially reduce administrative costs for companies operating in Europe.

Among the panelists are Alan Winston Granwell, partner, DLA Piper LLP; Andreas Mueller, partner KPMG; Daniel M. Berman, professor of tax law, Boston University School of Law; and Len Schneidman, managing director, WTAS LLC.
