Symposium Will Discuss Best Practices In Hiring, Training, Retaining Women

The Association of the Bar of the City of New York this month will present a Symposium on Best Practices for the Hiring, Training, Retention and Advancement of Women Attorneys.

The program will take place on Tuesday, February 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.

The symposium is the kick-off event for the Best Practices for the Hiring, Training, Retention and Advancement of Women Attorneys program developed by the City Bar's Committee on Women in the Profession in conjunction with the City Bar's Diversity Initiative.

Among the speakers will be the Hon. Barbara S. Jones, U.S. District judge, Southern District of New York; Akiko Mikumo, Weil, Gotshal &Manges LLP; Michele Coleman Mayes, senior vice president and general counsel, Pitney Bowes Inc., and Kathleen M. McKenna, Proskauer Rose LLP.
