Southern California ACCA Planning Pair Of Programs

The Southern California Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America (SOCAL ACCA) this month has scheduled a pair of programs covering issues of interest to in-house counsel.

On Thursday, May 11, SOCAL ACCA is planning CLO Roundtable: Advanced Techniques to Control Outside Litigation Cost from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Skirball Cultural Center, North Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles.

This roundtable will move beyond the basics and provide advanced strategies designed to minimize and shift litigation risks to obtain the most 'litigation bang for your buck.' This presentation also will outline outside counsel's ethical responsibilities in their costs and billing requirements.

On Wednesday, May 31, SOCAL ACCA will present Prevention of Substance Abuse at its monthly networking roundtable lunch.

The program, co-sponsored by Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Filenet Corporation, 3565 Harbor Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA.

Stephen Barry of Paul Hastings will lead a discussion on ways everyone can help prevent substance abuse in the profession of law.
