Sills Preparing SeminarOn Sale Leasebacks For NY ACCA

The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America (NY ACCA) and the firm of Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross P.C. early next month are planning a CLE seminar titled Sale Leasebacks - The Best of Both Worlds Is Still Obtainable in the Post-Enron Era.

The program will take place on Thursday, April 7 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Sills offices, Radio City Suites, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 64th Floor, New York City.

An experienced panel will share the benefits of sale-leasebacks, the risks and rewards, and the shoals that must be avoided to make the process efficient, cost-effective and, most importantly, conclude successfully. Specific results to be sought and problems to be avoided will be discussed in detail.

All entities operating in "owned real estate" will want to attend this seminar addressing the sale-leaseback method to unlock "fee value" while retaining possession, all in a tenant-operational and corporate-tax effective manner.

The program moderator will be Jeffrey H. Newman, chair of the Sills Cummis Real Estate Practice Group. Other speakers will include Mark S. Levenson, a partner at Sills Cummis, and Jeffrey S. Furman, vice president of global real estate, American Express Company.

The is no registration fee for the seminar.
