On Thursday, September 15, the Bar Association of San Francisco will offer ERISA for the Rest of Us at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.
It will run from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Teresa Renaker, a shareholder with Lewis, Feinberg, Lee, Renaker & Jackson, P.C., will discuss the following topics: ERISA preemption - when does state law survive; checklist of claims and defenses; a new development - the Supreme Court revives ERISA remedies in Amara v. Cigna; ERISA's non-discrimination provision; and class actions - ERISA and AT&T v. Concepcion.
