The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (NY ACCA) and the firm of Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe LLP will address the issue of asset acquisition this month in a CLE seminar titled Looking to Buy Asset Bargains? Try Bankruptcy Court.
The session will take place on Tuesday, January 27 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Golenbock Eiseman offices, 437 Madison Avenue (between 49th and 50th streets), New York City.
This program will cover the substantive and procedural issues that need to be considered by both the buyer and seller in a Section 363 transaction.
Speakers at the session will be Golenbock Eiseman partners Lawrence Bell, a transactional lawyer with a niche in bankruptcy acquisitions and divestitures, and Jonathan L. Flaxner, a bankruptcy specialist.
