Seminar Will Review2005-2006 Supreme Court Cases

The DC Bar Association this month will present a CLE program titled Supreme Court Review and Preview 2006.

The session will take place on Wednesday, September 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.

This popular annual course features a lively panel discussion of the highlights of the 2005-2006 Supreme Court term and a look forward at the issues that will be before the Supreme Court in the next term. Decisions from the 2005-2006 term on topics such as military tribunals, environmental law, freedom of speech, business law, criminal procedure, and similar issues will be discussed by panelists. Speakers also will focus onthe role of the newest members of the Supreme Court and their impact.

Panelists will include Beth S. Brinkmann, Morrison & Foerster, LLP; Michael R. Dreeben, Office of the U.S. Solicitor General, and Thomas C. Goldstein, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
