Seminar Will Review The Basics Of Business Law

The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) this month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Business Law 101.

The program will take place on Wednesday, September 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center, Ryders Lane Exit off Route One, New Brunswick, NJ.

This new program is designed to teach attorneys everything they didn't learn in law school about the practice of business law. It will offer a comprehensive review for experienced corporate and business law attorneys and provide a foundation in business law basics for general practitioners.

Panelists will lead participants through every aspect of business law, from choosing the proper entity and starting up the business, to advising that business on issues including taxation, employment and intellectual property.

Among the speakers are Philip L. Chapman and Philip D. Forlenza, both co-vice chair of programming, New Jersey State Bar Association Business Law Section; Sharon P. Margello, Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, PC, and Stuart L. Pachman, WolfBlock Brach Eichler.
