Seminar Will Review Organizing A Business

Massachusetts CLE early next month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Business Organizations - Basics Plus.

The program will take place on Tuesday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.

Forming a new business is one of the most important tasks attorneys can perform for a client, and one of the most difficult. Decisions made in the beginning of the process will affect a client's business and personal fortunes for the life of the business. This course will help attendees understand the complex issues involved, make the choices that best suit a client's needs, and avoid the practical and ethical pitfalls that can harm clients.

MCLE created this program and the accompanying materials to give the practical, step-by-step guidance needed when organizing a new business. A panel of experienced business lawyers will explain all the issues, guide participants through the alternatives, and point out traps for the unwary to help avoid common mistakes.

The program chair is William F. Griffin Jr., Davis, Malm & D'Agostine P.C.
