The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) this month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled 2006 International Law Review.
The program will take place on Friday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Clark, NJ.
Discussion topics at the half-day seminar will include: Enforcement of Foreign Judgments; Current Issues in Doing Business in the International Market; Trademark Infringement; IP Protection; Madrid Protocol - What It Is and Why Every Lawyer Needs to Know About It; Recent Developments and Case Law in Patent Protection - the Prosecution Process in Different Foreign Jurisdictions; Tax Issues and Transfer Pricing; Recent Developments in International Arbitration; Parallel Proceedings; A Fresh Look at Anti-Suit Injunctions, and How Discovery Is Affected by Common Law vs. Civil Jurisdictions.
The program moderator is Steven M. Richman, former chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association International Law and Organizations Section. Among the speakers are Anthony Caldwell, former director, Office of International Trade, New Jersey Economic & Growth Commission; Richard K.
