Seminar Will Review DevelopmentsIn Healthcare Transactions

The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) this month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Healthcare Transactions 2005.

The program will take place on Saturday, March 12 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center, Ryders Lane Exit off Route One, New Brunswick, NJ.

During the past year, there have been significant changes and developments in healthcare laws. Physicians and other healthcare providers continue to be subject to increasingly stringent and restrictive rules governing their practice. These restrictions are pervasive. They affect them operation of medical practices and corporate and other transactions involving medical professionals.

This timely program will address the status of the laws affecting physicians, and discuss the issues that arise when handling transactions involving medical groups. The program will be of particular interest to attorneys who represent physicians, physician groups or related healthcare entities in their corporate practice.

The program moderator will be Neil L. Prupis, Lampf, Lipkind, Prupis & Petigrow. Among other speakers are John D. Fanberg and Mark E. Manigan, WolfBlock Brach Eisler, and Michael F. Schaff, Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer.
