Seminar Will Offer AdviceOn Negotiating Software Licenses

The New York City Bar Association this month is offering a CLE seminar titled Negotiating Software Licenses - Practical Issues You Need to Know.

The program will take place on Monday, September 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.

This seminar will cover the basic principles and issues attorneys need to know to successfully negotiate a software license. The instructors will conduct a mock negotiation of a software license, offering useful strategies and techniques for protecting a client's interests. Ethics issues also will be addressed.

The co-instructors are Andrew H. Lupu, senior counsel, InfoVista Corporation, and Marcy Gordon, associate director, Bear, Sterns & Company.
