Seminar Will Examine Varied AspectsOf Being A Pro Sports Lawyer

Massachusetts CLE this month has scheduled as CLE seminar titled Lawyering for Pro Sports Teams.

The program will take place on Thursday, July 14 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.

This program provides a unique glimpse at how lawyers for the area's professional sports teams do just about everything but put the ball or puck in play. Sports is a major industry, and lawyers play an increasingly critical role in all aspects of the industry - from team and player acquisitions and contracts, to intellectual property licensing, major construction, intra-league relations, media contracts, and even to constitutional legal issues involving rights of access.
