Seminar Will Examine The LatestIn Land Use Law Developments

Land use law continues to undergo significant changes. Numerous recent judicial decisions and regulations significantly affect the applications, boards and cases attorneys are currently handling.

To help attorneys keep abreast of recent changes, the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) on Wednesday, June 15 will present a CLE seminar titled 2005 Land Use Update.

The program, designed for those who already possess a general understanding of land use law, features a comprehensive review of recent cases decided by the courts.

Some of the specific discussion topics include: COAH's new "Third Round" regulations, the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act, the State Development and Redevelopment Plan Cross-Acceptance Process, the impact of federal fair housing laws, Takings Law update, the new Stormwater Regulations, watershed management/septic update, and a legislative and regulatory update.

Serving as program moderator is Richard M. Hluchan, Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll LLP. Other speakers will be Stephen E. Barcan, Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer; Barbara A. Casey, Ballard Spahr; Antimo A. Del Vecchio, Beattie Padovano, LLP, and Peter S. Falvo Jr., Ansell, Zaro, Grimm & Aaron.
