Seminar Will Examine Texas Margin Tax

The University of Texas School of Law CLE this month is planning a seminar titled The New Texas Margin Tax in two locations.

Programs will take place on Thursday and Friday, September 7 and 8 at the Westin Oaks, 5011 Westheimer, Houston, and on Thursday and Friday, September 21 and 22 at the Center for American and International Law, 5201 Democracy Drive, Plano, TX.

Among the discussion topics will be: Building Blocks of the Margin Tax; Determining Revenue; Compensation; Taxable Entities After the New Texas Margin Tax; Combined Unitary Tax, and Transitional Issues.

Among the speakers are Steven Anderson, KPMG LLP; Sue Baadsgaard, PricewaterhouseCoopers; Dale Craymer, Texas Taxpayer and Research Association, and Richard D. Pomp, University of Connecticut School of Law.
