Seminar To Examine Insurance CoverageTo Deal With Environmental Risks

The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) this month is offering a CLE seminar titled Environmental Risks & Business Solutions.

The program will take place on Monday, August 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center, Ryders Lane Exit of Route One, New Brunswick, NJ.

This practical program is designed to make attorneys aware of the environmental risks they should be concerned about and provide information on insurance solutions that offer protection against these risks.

A panel of attorneys and insurance professionals will provide the knowledge that attorneys need to protect the best interests of clients.

Among the discussion topics are: types of environmental risks that may arise when dealing with business properties; legal bases for liability; regulations governing environmental liability; structure of insurance sharing agreements; due diligence; allocation of risk; shared and competing rights to insurance; types of environmental insurance available to protect business properties; pollution and remediation legal liability coverage; mold coverage, and contractor's pollution liability coverage.
