On Tuesday, November 9, ADR will be the focus of a CLE seminar planned by the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America and the firm of Nixon Peabody LLP under the title The Romance of the Reality of Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Decline of the Judicial Trial.
The program will examine ADR trends and how attorneys should accommodate them while heeding the need for dispute resolution. The program also will show attorneys how and why they should re-examine how the company resolves disputes or review the clauses in their consumer or business transaction documents.
The speakers will be Chris Mason, a partner at Nixon Peabody, and Patricia Roche Sunar, Verizon Wireless.
The program will take place from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Nixon Peabody offices, 437 Madison Avenue, New York City.
