The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America (NY ACCA) and JAMS early next month are planning a CLE seminar titled How to Draft the Perfect ADR Clause for Your Deal.
The program will take place on Thursday, September 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the JAMS offices, 280 Park Avenue, New York City. Registration will begin at 5 p.m., and the program will be followed by a wine and cheese reception.
The session is aimed at corporate counsel and private attorneys (litigators and transactional lawyers) who want to save time, money and aggravation in resolving commercial disputes that inevitably arise in the course of business.
The moderators for the program are Robert B. Davidson and Sheldon Elsen, both of JAMS. Other speakers will be Lawrence W. Newman, Baker & McKenzie; Steven A. Reiss, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and Eli Bard, vice president and deputy general counsel, Marvel Entertainment, Inc.
