Seminar Focus: Corporate ResponseTo Regulatory Investigations

The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America and the firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP this month are offering a CLE seminar titled How Corporations Respond to Regulatory Investigations: Current Trends and Issues.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 4 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, The Starlight Room, 301 Park Avenue, New York City. A reception will follow from 6 to 7 p.m.

Panelists will discuss the relationship between regulators, prosecutors and corporate entities.

The moderator for the discussion will be Jonathan D. Polkes, Cadwalader Wickersham. Other speakers will be the Hon. John Gleeson, U.S. district judge for the Eastern District of New York; the Hon. Michael Horowitz, commissioner for the U.S. Sentencing Commission and Cadwalader Wickersham partner; Douglas M. Lankler, assistant general counsel and deputy compliance officer, Pfizer Inc.; Gary M. Rosen, senior vice president and regulatory counsel, Lehman Brothers Inc., and Mark Schonfeld, director for the Northeast Region, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
