Seminar Focus: Balancing Work, Personal Life

The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) this month has scheduled its Work/Life Balance Conference.

The program will take place on Thursday, September 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Bank of America Auditorium, 555 California Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.

Panel discussions will include:

Can We Afford Part-Time? The Business Case for Balanced Hours;

GenX and GenY Speak: A Panel of Younger Attorneys Tells Us What They Can Provide, Want and Need;

Best Practices: Work/Life Measures That Really Work.

The keynote speaker will be Louise Renne, a former San Francisco city attorney and partner at Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai. Among other speakers are Joan Williams, Center for Work/Life Law, Hastings College of the Law; Jeannine M. Rupp, director of professional and personal life integration, Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP, and Tina Combs, vice president and managing counsel, Wells Fargo Bank, NA.
