On Friday, October 14, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics will host a regional Compliance and Ethics Conference. This year's event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. at the Omni Hotel at the CNN Center, 100 CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Attendees will learn about current regulatory requirements, government enforcement initiatives, and the management of effective compliance programs. Among the topics are building ethical leaders presented by Lt. Col. David Morgan, commanding officer, MCRD, Paris Island, NC; keeping your code of conduct current, presented by Jill U. Edmondson, manager, Corporate Compliance and Ethics for The Home Depot; and measuring effectiveness of plans presented by Sharon Zealey, chief ethics and compliance officer, The Coca-Cola Company.
