Rice Alliance Plans Fourth Annual Energy Technology Venture Forum

The Rice Alliance will host its Fourth Annual Energy Technology Venture Forum on Thursday and Friday, September 14 and 15 at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University in Houston.

This is the largest energy technology forum in Texas and one of the largest energy venture forums in North America.

Emerging energy technology companies will showcase their new ventures in front of an audience of some 500 investors and venture capitalists, industry representatives, business leaders, advisors/mentors, service providers, and entrepreneurs.

This year, nearly 60 early stage energy technology companies will present their elevator pitches on Thursday afternoon, followed by a networking reception and company showcase. Speakers include leading energy venture capitalists from around the United States and top energy industry executives involved in technology development and investment. Among the speakers will be Jackie Mutchler, vice president of exploration and production technology, BP; Rodrigo Prudencio, Nth Power, and Candace Stuart, director, Clean Tech Capital Group.
