Proskauer Attorneys Present SeminarOn Cross-Border Employment Best Practices

The firm of Proskauer Rose LLP last month presented a CLE seminar on behalf of the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel under the title Best Practices in Cross-Border Employment & Human Resources - Strategies for the Global Era.

The program took place on Monday, March 28 from 8:15 to 10:35 a.m. at the Harvard Club, 27 West 44th Street, New York City.

The two-hour long program addressed how leading "best practices" companies align their HR operations globally, and assure employment law compliance in their worldwide operations.

David Dick, general counsel, GVI Security Solutions, served as program chair and moderator.

Mike Album, Proskauer, and Mark Nordstrom, senior counsel-labor & employment law, General Electric, discussed International Employee Benefit Issues.

Mr. Nordstrom and Don Dowling Jr., Proskauer, examined Ten Problems in Cross-Border HR, and Tips for Resolving Them.
