The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) on Saturday, March 5 will present its 2005 Redevelopment Law Institute.
Redevelopment is a key objective of the State Development and Redevelopment Plan and remediation of adverse environmental conditions is a major part of redevelopment.
As with last year's institute, this half-day session will go beyond the basics of redevelopment law and focus on some of the other legal issues that have also started to become the focus of practitioners and their clients in New Jersey, as plans for redevelopment continue to be relied upon as ways to accomplish the rejuvenation of the older sections of the state.
Authoritative panels of state officials, insurance industry experts and practitioners will provide educational presentations and commentary regarding some of the most current issues of interest to attorneys in a variety of specialized areas of law that are affected by the move to redevelop.
The program moderator is Anne S. Babineau, Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer. Among other speakers are Phyllis E. Bross, deputy New Jersey attorney general; Edward A. Hogan, Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., and Norman W. Spindel, Lowenstein Sandler PC.
