PLI Schedules IP License Seminar

PLI has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Understanding the Intellectual Property License 2008 for Monday and Tuesday, December 15 and 16, at the PLICalifornia Center, 685 Market Street in San Francisco.

On Monday, the program will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., and on Tuesday it will go from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Topics will include copyright licensing, rights of publicity and entertainment licensing, patent and technology licensing, ethical issues in licensing, antitrust issues in licensing, bankruptcy issues in licensing, drafting for litigation, and a mock negotiation of a license agreement.

The presenting faculty includes Sally M. Abel, partner and chair, Trademark Group, Fenwick & West LLP; Leonard T. Nuara, Greenberg Traurig, LLP; and Alan Stern, senior corporate counsel, Licensing & Technology Group, Cisco Systems, Inc.
