PBI To Present Second Annual Nonprofit Institute On May 20



The Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) will offer its second annual Nonprofit Institute on Thursday, May 20.

Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector;


Compensation for Nonprofit Executives;


Fraud in the Nonprofit World;


How to Start and Run a Nonprofit Organization;


Sarbanes-Oxley and the Implications for Nonprofit Governance;


Electronic Filing With the IRS and Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations;


Endowment Investment and Spending Policies - Legal & Practical Considerations;


The Ethical Obligations of the Nonprofit Board of Directors;


Nonprofits and Lobbying Activities.
