The New York County Lawyers Association offers a two-day program on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 7 and 8, at the NYCLA Vesey Street Center in New York City.
The classes are from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on both evenings.
Attendees will explore the latest issues involved in practice in federal court with a panel of experienced litigators. The panel will review all aspects of federal practice including commencing the action; responding to the complaint; discovery methods and motions; taking and defending depositions; trial of a civil case in federal court; dealing with expert witnesses; post-trial procedure; and enforcement of judgments.
Participants will hear from Hon. Victor Marrero, Southern District of New York, who will offer a view from the bench after each topic is introduced and discussed.
