The New York City Bar Association will present a video replay of a CLE seminar titled Document Retention & Discovery in an E-World.
The program will take place on Wednesday, August 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.
The questions of what to retain, how long backup tapes or disaster-recovery tapes should be maintained or e-mails archived, and what to produce, have become increasingly complicated in the era of electronic data. The program will address: decisions faced by businesses and practitioners in deciding what documents and data to retain; issues to consider in responding to civil discovery requests and criminal investigations; potential civil sanctions, and potential criminal consequences.
The program chair is Kathryn Keneally, Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.
