Northwestern Law School Plans 26th Corporate/Securities Law Institute

The Northwestern University School of Law on Thursday & Friday, May 4 and 5 will present its 26th Annual Ray Garrett Jr. Corporate and Securities Law Institute.

Discussions over the two-day period will focus on topics such as: Dealing With Significant and Activist Stockholders; Implementing Best Practices With Stockholders and Boards; Securities Offering Reform: The SEC's and Practitioner's Perspective, and Executive Compensation: The SEC's Proposed Disclosure Rules.

The keynote speaker will be Martin P. Dunn, director of the Division of Corporation Finance, SEC. Among other speakers are John W. White and Alan L. Beller, both of the SEC.

The conference will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Friday at the Northwestern University School of Law, 357 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago.
