Chapter 11 and Bankruptcy Basics is the title of a CLE seminar scheduled for Thursday, May 20 by the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America (NEOACCA).
The session will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. at The Union Club, 1211 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland.
The program will cover an outline of bankruptcy basics and the automatic stay, reclamation claims, proofs of claim, preferences and other bankruptcy issues, form of petition for bankruptcy, form of debtor's schedules, and Chapter 11 reorganization.
The speakers will be Shawn M. Riley, Paul Linehan, Sherri Dahl and Scott Opincar of the Business Restructuring Department of McDonald Hopkins Company, LPA.
