NJICLE Plans 'ADR Day IX:Getting Down To Business'

The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) early next month is planning ADR Day IX: Getting Down to Business.

The annual event, co-sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section, the Justice Garibaldi Inn of Court, the Association for Conflict Resolution, and the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators, is set for Friday, June 3.

Among the issues to be discussed at the day-long program are:

  • Drafting and Implementing ADR Clauses;
  • Limits of Imbalance of Power, Confidentiality & Objective Reality in Civil Mediation;
  • Employment ADR (a blue ribbon panel presentation);
  • Interactive Ethics Presentation Focusing on Civil and Family ADR.

The conference co-chairs areBonnie Blume Goldsamt, past chair, NJSBA Dispute Resolution Section,and Richard J. Jeydel, KanematsuUSA, Inc.

Serving as moderator for the plenary sessions is Robert E. Margulies, chair, NJSBA Dispute Resolution. The morning keynote speaker will be Bennett S. Picker, Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP. The luncheon speaker will be the Hon. Stewart G. Pollock, former New Jersey Supreme Court Justice.
