NJICLE, NJCCA To Present 2006 Corporate Counsel Institute

For the third year in a row, the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) and the New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association (NJCCA) this month will present their Corporate Counsel Institute, a comprehensive conference specifically designed to address current issues facing corporate counsel.

The 2006 Institute will take place on Wednesday, January 25 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center, Ryders Lane Exit off Route One, New Brunswick, NJ.

The program will be of interest to corporate counsel who are members of large legal departments, as well as those individuals who are solely responsible for the corporate counsel function.

Specific discussion topics will include: Corporate Governance- SOX; Corporate Issues; D&O Issues; Class Action Update; Employment Issues; White Collar Crime, and Homeland Security and In-House Counsel.

The program moderator will be Robert D. Chesler, Lowenstein Sandler, PC. Among the speakers will be Alison Brotman, vice president and general counsel-northeast area, Verizon Wireless; John Farmer, Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP; Anthony O. Pergola and Gavin J. Rooney, Lowenstein Sandler, and Arthur H. Saiewitz, former president, NJCCA.
