NJICLE, NJCCA Set New DateFor 2006 Intellectual Property Summit

The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE), the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) and the New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association (NJCCA) have rescheduled their 2006 Intellectual Property Summit for this month.

The program will take place on Tuesday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center, Ryders Lane Exit off Route One, New Brunswick, NJ.

At this comprehensive conference, attendees will hear some of the region's most authoritative intellectual property practitioners address today's hottest issues in the areas of patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets.

Panelists also will explore practical strategies and best practices for managing legal risks involved in dealing with intellectual property. The conference will conclude with a discussion of ethical issues facing today's IP practitioner.

The conference moderators are Marc S. Friedman, Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross P.C., and Peter Tu, associate general counsel and director of intellectual property, Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
