NC Bar Schedules Video ReplaysOf Business Law Seminar

The North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) this month is planning video replays of its Basics of Business Law seminar in three locations.

Programs will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, July 12 and 13 at the International Trade Center, 200 North College Street, Charlotte, and on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 25 and 26 at both the NC Bar Center, 8000 Weston Parkway, Cary, and the Guilford Technical Community College, 2007 Yanceyville Street, Greensboro.

Attendees can expect to learn:

How to help clients organize a corporation, LLC, or partnership and choose which form is best for them;

How to spot issues regularly encountered in broad areas of business practice, such as securities, trade practices, employment, ERISA, intellectual property, and environmental law;

How to negotiate and document the purchase or sale of a business and commercial loan transactions;

How to prepare and negotiate transactional legal opinions;

How to balance a busy practice while maintaining an appropriate quality of life.
