MCLE Plans Intellectual Property Conference

Massachusetts CLE this month has scheduled its Eighth Annual Intellectual Property Conference.

The event will take place on Friday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.

Intellectual property assets now have great importance for both large and small companies. Patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets continue to grow in value as determinants of success for businesses.

MCLE's Intellectual Property Law Conference 2005 explores what business lawyers and litigators need to know about intellectual property in the current economy. Plenary sessions feature a discussion of intellectual property litigation, current trends in patent enforcement and prosecution strategies and a keynote address by the U.S. Register of Copyrights. Breakoutpanels on four different topics will allow attendees to customize their learning.

The panel of speakers for the conference is still to be announced.
