Masters Fall ConferenceExplores Global Corporate Change

Masters Conference for Legal Professionals has scheduled a fall conference titled Global Corporate Change - Navigating Discovery, Risk and Security for Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13 and 14, at the Ronald Regan Building, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. NW in Washington DC.

This is the fourth installment of the Masters Conference. This year's conference will focus on managing the risks associated with high-profile scandals, security breaches, IP threats, increased litigation, audits and regulatory investigations.

Three educational tracks will be presented during each day of the conference. Each track will delve into the critical, up-to-the-minute issues facing legal departments, outside counsel, and government agencies.

The scheduled tracks and topics include Risk and Risk Management - early assessment, managing international business disputes, records management, cyber risk, responding to scandal, etc. Compliance and Privacy will include managing government investigations, data mapping, cloud computing and data privacy. Under the Litigation and Discovery topic, controlling costs, litigation holds, lawsuit financing, and using discovery consultants and outside experts are among the issues under consideration.
