Massachusetts Tax Update - Annual Spotlight on Recent Developments will be presented by the Boston Bar Association (BBA) on Friday, May 18.
This seminar will provide a comprehensive survey of legislative changes, regulations and other administrative pronouncements, and new case law addressing Massachusetts tax issues since May 2003.
Broad discussion categories include corporate excise taxes, sales/use taxes, income taxes and tax procedure.
The program chair is Robert A. Carleo Jr., Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Opening remarks will be delivered by Alan LeBovidge, commissioner, Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
Other speakers at the afternoon seminar will be John S. Brown, Bingham McCutchen LLP; Joseph X. Donovan, Massachusetts Department of Revenue; John T. Gilbert, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and David Sheehan, Ernst & Young.
