The San Diego Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America this month will present a brown bag luncheon CLE seminar titled Thinking the Unthinkable: Pro-Active Management of Environmental Liabilities.
The program will take place on Thursday, December 2 from noon to 1 p.m. at the main conference room of Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, Del Mar Gateway, 11988 El Camino Real, Suite 200, San Diego, CA.
This seminar will provide short case studies of environmental issues that corporate counsel may face. Companies frequently focus on directly solving an environmental issue without realizing that the "real" problem is a related business issue such as financing, closing a deal, or simply minimizing management distractions.
The speaker will be Steve McDonald, partner at Luce Forward.
There is no registration fee for the seminar, which is open only to ACC-A members.
