Kelley Drye Seminar Examines Regulatory Issues In Advertising Law

Attorneys from the firm of Kelley Drye Collier Shannon recently presented a CLE seminar titled Advertising on the Web, in Print, or on TV/Radio: Latest Regulatory Issues in Advertising Law.

The program took place on Thursday July 13 at the Towers Club in Vienna, VA.

The program addressed recent developments in advertising and marketing law related to claim substantiation, privacy and data security, promotions, and online marketing.

Kelley Drye Collier Shannon partners discussed how to implement best practices to keep customer information under wraps and at the same time develop creative, effective advertisements and promotional campaigns.

Discussion topics included how to properly substantiate advertisements; how to identify advertisements, campaigns and business practices that regulators will target, and how to litigate claims if necessary.

The presenters were John Villafranco and Lewis Rose, members of the Kelley Drye Collier Shannon Advertising Law Practice Group.
