Kelley Drye Chairman Among ThoseBeing Honored By Legal Services Association

Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A has scheduled its Annual Awards Benefit for Wednesday, November 16 at the New York Marriott Brooklyn, 333 Adams Street, Brooklyn.

The three individuals being honored at the awards dinner are John M. Callagy, chairman of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP; Thomas Early, executive director of Health Plus, a non-profit Brooklyn-based HMO that has pioneered free and low-cost health insurance to children and adults, and Dr. Claude Offord, a physician who practices at the Brownsville Multi-Service Family Health Center located in Brooklyn.

Mr. Callagy chaired Brooklyn Legal Services first Capital Campaign and was instrumental in bringing in major supporters in an effort that raised almost $4 million in cash and in-kind contributions. As a result, Brooklyn Legal Services purchased its four-story headquarters building in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn and opened a neighborhood office in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.
