Intellectual Property Law Focus Of 34th Annual Summer Institute

The Intellectual Property Law Section of The State Bar of Michigan together with The Institute of Continuing Legal Education will co-sponsor their 34th annual summer institute, which will begin Thursday, July 17 and run through Saturday, July 19.

The conference will be held at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan.

Moderated by Jennifer Sheehan Anderson, Honigman Miller Schwartz & Cohn LLP and Denise M. Glassmeyer, Young & Basile P.C., the program will present the latest developments in patent, trademark and copyright and international brands law from some of the top experts in the field. Participants will hear what's new at the U.S. Copyright Office from the U.S. Registrar of Copyrights, gain insight on the use of design patents to protect IP interests, review the latest patent reform legislation and hear how to handle IP issues in bankruptcy.
